All information contained in this web site is based on and governed by English Law and subject to the jurisdiction of an English court.
Our on-site services are currently only available in England and Wales.

The site owners, administrators, or distributors shall not be liable for any consequence arising from failure, or delay, in the performance of any of their obligations, or duties, or support expectations to users of this site.
All the site’s material, together with any suggestions, recommendations, opinions, instructions or any other communication made, both oral and written, directly or indirectly, is offered to users in good faith. No condition, warranty or representation, expressed or implied, is given as to its validity or to the results obtained. All of the material on this web site and system is copyrighted. Users of the system do have permission to print out content, including course descriptions, for their own personal use.

Standard Terms of business
Payment
The course fees must be paid, in full, prior to the start of the course. Actuate L & D Ltd. reserves the right to re-allocate the course place to another delegate or course date to another client if fees are not paid on time. Standard payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice.
Late Payment
In the event of late payment, Actuate L & D Ltd. reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per calendar month, or part thereof, from the last date that payment was due to the date that payment is made. Alternatively, actuate L & D Ltd. will pursue payment of outstanding fees via other legal options.
Transferring courses
If an organisation wishes to transfer a booking to a later date there will be an administrative charge of 50% of the course fee if it is within 15 working days of the original course date. If that transfer is then cancelled the full course fee remains payable.
Cancelling courses
All cancellations to bookings must be made 15 working days prior to the start of a course. If a booking is cancelled within the 15 days or if the delegate fails to attend the course, 100% of the full course fee must be paid immediately.
Changing delegate details (where applicable)
There will be no charge if a substitute person from your organisation wishes to replace the original delegate on the same date and same course. Please inform our office of any change to the original booking.
Cancellation of general courses by Actuate Learning & Development Ltd and changes to course Content
Actuate L & D Ltd. courses are constantly updated and improved and Actuate L & D Ltd. reserves the right to alter any of the courses content without prior notice. Actuate L & D Ltd. reserves the right to cancel a general course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund. Actuate L & D Ltd. reserves the right to re-schedule course dates due to circumstances outside of their reasonable control.
Course notes and training
The notes and training for Actuate L & D Ltd. cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither Actuate L & D Ltd. nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes. If in doubt please consult a lawyer.
