‘North Sandwell OCU K1 of West Midlands Police provided the opportunity for me to explore external companies that offer diversity training to build on employees’ knowledge. More specifically, training surrounding Faith and Religion, along with our emerging communities namely Polish, Somalian and Romanian. Exploring the internet was my first task and Actuate jumped out as a company that could deliver the needs and expectations of the organization. Within two productive meetings, a training session was created and dates agreed to deliver a day’s training to 350 employees within 6 weeks. During continuous evaluation following student feedback it was immediately apparent that colleagues from all backgrounds really enjoyed the training and gained a lot of knowledge and understanding that will be used internally and externally’.
